Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support the construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew, help install poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware, and keep equipment in good working order.

This entry‑level position requires a valid driver's license with CDL within 60 days, willingness to travel, and commitment to working outdoors in varying conditions. Safety and PPE are emphasized throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to safety and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Support crew with installing poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varied weather and environmental conditions.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies, and on‑call rotations.
