Job summary

PIKE Electric LLC is seeking Groundman to support construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the team in building, repairing, and maintaining infrastructure while reporting to the Foreman.

The role involves outdoor work in varying weather, outages, and emergencies with an emphasis on safety and PPE. CDL within 60 days and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety protocols including PPE use.
• Valid Driver's License and able to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and weather.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Report to the Foreman and follow directions for outages and emergencies.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
