Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Unit Manager, Customer Operations in our Ground Handling Department. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure safe equipment handling while meeting company goals and customer needs.

You will lead a team including supervisors and agents, schedule staff, report on performance, and drive process improvements within the AO A environment. A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, or related field.
• 2 years supervisory experience in Ramp and Customer Service.
• Able to preplan manpower and equipment.
• Familiarity with Airport Operations Area (AOA) environment.
• Extensive knowledge of QIK, Sabre, and the Internal Controls Manual (ICM).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with company goals and customer expectations in mind.
• Coach and develop staff career paths.
• Address non-compliant behavior and implement corrective actions.
• Align daily routines with corporate policies and goals.
• Manage a team including supervisors and agents.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and staffing plans.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
