Job summary

Piedmont Airlines in Phoenix seeks a Unit Manager, Control Center to lead the Ground Handling operation, overseeing station performance and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth flight operations.

The role requires FAA and Aircraft Operator Security Program familiarity, the ability to mentor Control Center agents, resolve irregular operations, and communicate plans clearly to partner carriers and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in an operations environment.
• Familiarity with FAA and Aircraft Operator Security Program regulations.
• Proven ability to manage irregular operations and communicate plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify daily challenges hindering operational objectives and communicate plans.
• Collaborate with local operating departments and partner SOCs/IOC.
• Serve as liaison between Mainline and Regional workgroups for planning.
• Adjudicate and apply the Delay Code Handbook and AYR procedures.
• Investigate and resolve operational irregularities per procedures.
