Piedmont Airlines is seeking a General Manager in our Ground Handling Department to oversee station operations and staff, reporting to the Regional Manager, Ground Handling. This role drives efficiency, safety, and policy adherence while coordinating with leadership across shifts, supervisors, and agents.

You will shape staffing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards in a dynamic airport environment.

Competenze

• Proven team leadership with manpower and equipment planning experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Collaborates with all management levels and support staff.
• Capable of defusing conflicts among team members.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with internal controls processes for accountable items.

Mansioni

• Oversee station labor relations, operations efficiency, maintenance, facilities, safety and security.
• Direct daily operations with a focus on customer expectations and goals.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Schedule staff and assign work rotations, overtime, and backups.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and ensure policy adherence.
