Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Unit Manager, Customer Operations in Philadelphia to lead the Ground Handling team, ensuring safe equipment handling and staffing in daily operations.

You will coach staff, manage scheduling and performance reviews, and enforce policies to meet company and customer expectations. The role requires strong leadership, independence, and collaboration across management levels.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory experience in Ramp and Customer Service
• Familiarity with Airport Operations Area (AOA) environment
• Extensive knowledge of QIK, Sabre, and the Internal Controls Manual (ICM)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Business, or related field
• Use of computers and other office equipment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with focus on safety and customer service
• Coach and develop staff career paths
• Correct non-compliant behavior and apply corrective action
• Align daily work with company policies and goals
• Manage a diverse team including supervisors and agents
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Schedule staff including shifts, rotations, and back-ups
• Conduct employee performance reviews
