Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Houston is seeking an Operations Supervisor, Ground to lead the Outbound and Inbound Specialist teams, owning execution quality from booking through delivery and billing. This role ensures shift coverage, drives data integrity between TMF and Aljex, coaches staff, and handles escalations with clear, fact-based decisions in a 24/7 operation.

Experience with TMF/Aljex, Tive, and related tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in transportation or 3PL operations
• 1–2 years supervising or leading a team
• Hands-on operating experience with TMF and/or Descartes Aljex
• Ability to hold a team to defined processes and correct drift
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

• Monitor TMF bookings to ensure every booking is picked up and worked within the target window
• Balance workload across the shift to maintain coverage
• Escalate issues to the appropriate owner and ensure clear handovers
• Lead shift handovers and onboard/certify specialists on TMF, Aljex, Tive, Open Dock, and MacroPoint
• Report shift performance and drive continuous improvement with dashboards (Power BI)
