Job summary

Crane-Solutions-LL in Houston, TX is hiring an Outbound Specialist, Ground to own the origin half of ground shipments. You will build shipment files in TMF and Descartes Aljex, apply cost and revenue, generate the bill of lading, and secure pickup appointments.

You will issue warehouse pre-alerts and establish in-transit visibility using Tive and MacroPoint, handing off to the Inbound Specialist at origin departure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation operations or logistics.
• Hands-on experience with TMF/Aljex or similar TMF systems.
• Understanding of US domestic ground freight (FTL/LTL).
• Strong accuracy in document audits and billing support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Build the TMF file and trigger EDI to Descartes Aljex.
• Verify data, assets and references before file creation.
• Generate and attach the Bill of Lading in both systems.
• Maintain in-transit visibility with Tive/MacroPoint and pre-alerts.
• Escalate scheduling and security issues to appropriate teams.
