Job summary

Meijer is seeking a retail leader to plan and supervise day-to-day operations across store departments in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor team members, handle staffing decisions, and focus on delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with team members.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial and statistical information.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Plan and supervise day-to-day operations in store departments.
• Mentor and coach team members to drive customer service and sales goals.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales targets and reduce shrink.
• Ensure training and safety standards are followed.
