Qualifications

• Rotational assignments in other store areas are expected.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction.
• Resolve conflicts by addressing root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Ability to teach suggestive selling and lead teams.
• Must be able to mentor team members and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales, and control shrink for the department.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation per standards.
• Ensure safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Deliver exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
• Train staff on required processes and training.
• Communicate Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
