Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Stock Crew Supervisor in Los Angeles to assist with scheduling and supervising the Stock Crew and to support the Team Leader and Associate Team Leaders in maintaining efficient department operations. You will oversee displays, assist with training, monitor inventory, and ensure high team morale while delivering courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members.

Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a retail/stock environment.
• Ability to train and mentor team members using checklists and materials.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-relations skills.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory policies relevant to food retail.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks based on department needs.
• Works with leadership to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Responds to customer and team member needs and concerns.
• Assists in sorting and stocking processes for at least 75% of shifts.
• Assists in training using provided materials and checklists.
• Maintains positive work environment and high morale.
• Manages inventory processes, spoilage, sampling, temperature, and related worksheets.
• Tracks productivity of stocking crew.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Maintains high standards of retail execution.
• Promotes teamwork and excellent morale.
• Directs team to meet customer flow and satisfaction.
• Trains and mentors team members to sustain high performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Models company vision and goals.
