Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a Stock Department Supervisor to assist with scheduling and supervising the Stock Crew, support Team Leaders, and ensure smooth department operation. You will oversee displays, train Team Members, and maintain a positive, safety‑mocused work environment while upholding health regulations and quality standards.

Daily duties include supervising tasks, resolving team concerns, assisting in stocking, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Effectively supervises and delegates tasks based on the needs of the department.
• Works with leadership to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Responds to customer and Team Member needs and concerns.
• Assists in sorting and stocking processes for at least 75% of the scheduled shift.
• Assists in training as delegated by Team Leader and Associate Team Leader using training materials.
• Establishes and maintains a positive work environment that supports high Team Member morale.
• Completes inventory management processes and related worksheets as required.
• Assists in tracking the productivity of the stocking crew.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork and exceptional morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members accordingly.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
