Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude and promotes teamwork and a friendly store atmosphere.
• Greet and assist customers, providing prompt, courteous service.
• Monitor sales floor operations and related technology to support customers.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and address issues across the store.
• Smile, speak to customers by name when possible, and engage with shoppers.
• Assist customers by guiding them to products, securing items, and handling heavy loads.
• Answer phones promptly and provide helpful service.
• Train employees on store policies and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment maintenance throughout the store.
• Develop pricing philosophies and merchandising guidelines with management.
• Order and verify merchandise deliveries, check quality, and report discrepancies.
• Recruit and interview applicants; ensure policy and legal compliance.
• Oversee cash handling, register operations, and backroom space management.
• Inspect pricing and product displays and correct mispriced items.
• Adhere to personal hygiene and dress standards; follow company guidelines.
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
• Contribute to backroom organization and space allocation.
• Coordinate displays, layouts, and prop selection; oversee display construction.
