Sprouts Farmers Market in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage product freshness, rotation, and date controls, control costs, schedule staff, and coach team members. You’ll coordinate receiving, verify deliveries, and ensure safety, compliance, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 1 year of supervisory or management experience in retail or service.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and meet financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with solid organization and planning skills.
• Food safety certification and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Ensure product freshness, proper rotation, and date controls.
• Monitor costs and labor; reduce shrink and improve profitability.
• Assist in preparing store for physical inventory counts.
• Oversee receiving and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and safety.
• Coach and develop team; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire and promote staff with Store Manager input.
• Schedule staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to the team.
• Lead a collaborative team to deliver high quality products and service.
• Serve as MOD or cover store leadership as needed.
