Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Winter Park, FL is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of our busiest teams. You will support the Grocery Manager with daily operations, inventory control, ordering, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes coaching staff, maintaining product quality, adhering to health and safety standards, and delivering a fast-paced, friendly shopping experience for customers seeking healthy choices.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Lift up to 60 lbs milk trays and 50 lbs boxes; stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Assist in leading a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience your customers will receive
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Grocery Team
• Unload and sort through store deliveries
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations
