Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Florida is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help oversee one of the store’s busiest teams and deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales, margin and inventory goals.

You will assist the Grocery Manager with managing and merchandising, supervising the team, coordinating planning and execution, and training staff to uphold health and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Able to lead a busy team with strong communication.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform related physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team that delivers high quality products and service and enhances customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure the execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure others follow them.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and contributes to a positive team culture.
