Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of the store's busiest teams and help customers make healthy choices while delivering exceptional service. You will assist the Grocery Manager with department merchandising, ordering, inventory controls, staff training, and daily operations, while ensuring safety standards and company guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Familiarity with natural foods and diets is a plus.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Leadership ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in operations for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls and supervise the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning and communication.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of staff.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
