Job summary

Sargent & Lundy offers an Associate Engineering Intern position in its Grid business unit. You will join a project team and assist senior engineers across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines to support design and procurement efforts.

The role allows three days in-office with two days remote, enabling hands-on experience, strong teamwork, and exposure to engineering calculations, reporting, and documentation for power projects.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in BS or MS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong academic background with relevant coursework in civil/structural/mechanical/electrical topics.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in the related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Work on a variety of tasks related to project reporting, tracking progress and data.
• Be involved in power designs and documents/specifications for procurement of major equipment and installation services.
• Collaborate with senior engineers; hybrid work with three days in the office and two remote days.
