Job summary

Guardians of Honor seeks an energetic professional with a strong background in federal grants management data analysis to support the Office of Head Start client. The role involves integrating data from multiple sources, building dashboards, and delivering high-quality analyses to inform decision-making.

The candidate will develop databases, lead data visualization efforts, and support both pre- and post-award activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master's degree and/or relevant certifications preferred.
• At least 3 years of related professional experience.
• High level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, ArcGIS, Figma, Canva.
• Experience aggregating, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work onsite at the OHS West Regional Office.
• Education/experience in education, early childhood education, public administration, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to pass background investigations for access to federal facilities; Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop databases, reports, and tools to support efficiencies and process improvement; maintain and update grants management databases.
• Support database administration and oversee data, databases, and systems maintenance.
• Develop, design, and maintain databases using Excel, Smartsheet, Python, R, SQL, GIS, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics.
• Prepare and maintain project files with all artifacts and deliverables.
• Develop reports and presentations on analytical findings for diverse audiences.
• Translate complex data into visual stories; create dashboards.
• Develop engaging data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, Figma, Canva, Google Data Studio.
• Create and support trainings on database functionality for colleagues and grant recipients.
• Stay current on technology and processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead coordination and develop methodologies to support daily data activities; test systems and document issues.
• Support pre- and post-award grants management activities including reporting, data entry, QC, and compliance tasks.
