Job summary

Guardians of Honor is seeking an experienced grants management data analyst to support the Office of Head Start client. You will lead data collection, reporting, dashboards, and data quality across multiple sources in a federal grants environment.

The role requires building databases, developing visualizations, and collaborating with functional and technical teams onsite in Washington, DC. Strong skills in Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, and GIS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s or certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, Python, R, SQL and Power BI.
• Ability to aggregate, analyze, and present data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work onsite at the OHS HQ Office.
• Knowledge of Head Start program and grant systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop databases, reports, and tools to support efficiency and process improvement; maintain grants management databases.
• Support database administration and data/system maintenance.
• Design and maintain databases using Excel, Smartsheet, Python, R, SQL, GIS, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics.
• Prepare project files with deliverables and artifacts.
• Develop reports and presentations of analytical findings for varied audiences.
• Translate complex data into visual stories and dashboards.
• Create data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, Figma, Canva, Google Data Studio.
• Deliver trainings on database functionality for colleagues and grant recipients.
• Stay current on technology and best practices to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead coordination to support data storage, validation, and analysis for project goals.
