Job summary

Guardians of Honor seeks aData Management Specialist to lead grants management data analysis and reporting for the Office of Head Start. You will build and maintain databases and dashboards, ensuring data quality and reliable insights for clients.

The role requires expertise in Excel, Smartsheet, SQL, and Power BI, and collaboration across teams to deliver accurate metrics and timely reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and/or relevant certifications preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years in a related professional role.
Proficiency with web-based and off-the-shelf data management software (Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, SQL, Power BI).
Ability to aggregate, analyze, and present data from multiple sources.
Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and metadata management.

Responsibilities

Lead grants management data analysis and reporting tasks.
Serve as primary data/system point of contact between functional and technical teams.
Develop reports and presentations tailored to audiences.
Create and maintain databases and IT infrastructure supporting data access.
Test systems, run scenarios, and remediate issues.
Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality deliverables and up-to-date information.
Support pre- and post-award grants management activities and data entry tasks.
