Job summary

Guardians of Honor seeks an experienced grants data analyst to support an Office of Head Start client. You will lead data collection, reporting, and analytics across multiple data sources, translating findings into actionable dashboards and visual stories for decision-makers.

The role requires building and testing databases, collaborating with both functional and technical teams, and presenting insights to stakeholders. Onsite work in the Southeast region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and/or relevant certifications preferred.
• At least 3 years of related professional experience.
• High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, ArcGIS, Figma, Canva.
• Ability to aggregate, analyze, and present data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work onsite at the OHS Southeast Regional Office.
• Knowledge of Head Start program and grant systems preferred.
• Ability to pass background investigations for Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop databases, reports, and tools to support efficiencies and process improvement; maintain and update grants management databases.
• Support database administration and oversee maintenance of data, databases, and systems.
• Develop, design, and maintain databases using various platforms (Excel, Smartsheet, Python, R, SQL, GIS, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics).
• Prepare and maintain project files with all completed work products and deliverables.
• Develop reports and presentations on analytical findings for diverse audiences.
• Translate complex data into visual stories.
• Develop data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, Figma, Canva, Google Data Studio.
• Create trainings on database functionality for colleagues and grant recipients.
• Keep up-to-date on technology and best practices to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead coordination and develop methodologies to support daily activities and project goals.
