Job summary

Guardians of Honor LLC seeks a Data Management Specialist to lead grants management data analysis and reporting for our Office of Head Start client. You will serve as the primary data and system contact between functional and technical teams, ensuring a seamless experience for participants, grantees, and clients.

You will build and test databases, consolidate data from multiple sources, and support data governance across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and/or certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of related professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency with web and off-the-shelf data management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, SQL, Power BI).
• Experience in aggregating, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data quality assurance, validation, and governance.
• Ability to work onsite at the OHS West Regional Office.
• Background in education-related fields or Head Start grants is a plus.
• Ability to pass background investigations for access to federal facilities and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead grants management data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Serve as the primary data and system contact between functional and technical teams.
• Provide dedicated customer service by executing grants management processes.
• Build, maintain and test databases and IT infrastructure; consolidate data from multiple sources.
• Develop data governance models and metadata management systems; ensure data quality.
• Coordinate across the team to ensure content and functionality are highest quality.
• Develop SOPs and QC procedures; update for efficiencies and best practices.
• Assist with pre- and post-award grants management activities and reporting.
