Job summary

Guardians of Honor LLC is seeking a Data Management Specialist to lead grants management data analysis and reporting for our Office of Head Start client. You will serve as the data and systems liaison between functional and technical teams, ensuring seamless data integration and client satisfaction.

You will build and maintain databases, develop governance models, and produce tailored analytical deliverables while providing training and support to staff and grant recipients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, SQL, Power BI and related tools.
• Ability to aggregate, analyze, and present data from multiple sources.
• Expertise in metadata management, data quality assurance, and data governance.
• Onsite work at the OHS Southwest Regional Office.
• Knowledge of Head Start programs and grant systems is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of databases, reports, and tools to improve efficiency.
• Maintain and oversee grants management databases.
• Create data governance and metadata management systems across sources.
• Develop data quality assurance models and provide training to data teams.
• Deliver insights through reports and presentations for varied audiences.
• Prepare trainings on database functionality for colleagues and grant recipients.
• Collaborate across the team to ensure high quality content and timely updates.
• Support pre- and post-award grants management activities and reporting.
