Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Grant Writing Specialist to secure funding through compelling proposals and meticulous grant management. You will support program development, manage budgets, and liaise with funders to ensure compliance and outcomes.

The role emphasizes in-person work at the corporate office with potential remote options depending on location, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, reporting to the Sr. Director of Contracts and Revenue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.
• Experience preparing budgets and financial reports for grant applications.
• Experience with contract management and compliance reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grant Research & Development: identify funding opportunities and maintain grant calendar.
• Proposal Writing & Submission: develop, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals meeting funder requirements.
• Budget Preparation & Financial Reporting: prepare detailed grant budgets and financial reports.
• Grant Management & Reporting: manage applications from inception to post-award reporting and documentation.
• Collaboration & Program Support: work with program staff to gather data for proposals and fundraising planning.
• Funder Relations: maintain ongoing communication and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
