Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Grant Writing Specialist to secure funding, manage grant documentation, and support program development. The role prefers in-person work at the corporate office with some remote options depending on location, reporting to the Sr. Director of Contracts and Revenue.

Strong emphasis on writing excellence and compliance. Minimum 3+ years in grant writing and fundraising, with a BA in a related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.
• Experience with budgets and financial reports for grant applications.
• Experience with contract management and compliance reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grant Research & Development: Identify funding opportunities and maintain a grant calendar.
• Proposal Writing & Submission: Develop, edit, and submit high-quality proposals meeting funder requirements.
• Budget Preparation & Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed grant budgets and ensure alignment with guidelines.
• Grant Management & Reporting: Manage applications through submission and post-award reporting.
• Collaboration & Program Support: Work with program staff on outcomes and fundraising planning.
• Funder Relations: Maintain communications and stewardship with funders.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business, or related field
