Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Grant Writing Specialist to secure funding and support program expansion. The role emphasizes proposal development, grants management, and collaboration with program teams to align funding with organizational goals.

Ideal candidates will have extensive grant writing experience, strong writing/editing skills, and the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and funder reporting in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Proven grant proposal writing, fundraising, and contract management experience.
• Strong understanding of grant life cycle management from research to reporting.
• Ability to tailor proposals to funder requirements.
• Knowledge in IDD and Medicaid Waiver funding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals and supporting documents.
• Manage grant budgets and financial reports in collaboration with finance and program teams.
• Track submission deadlines and maintain a grant calendar.
• Maintain ongoing communication with funders and ensure compliance and reporting.
