Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network seeks a Grant Writing Specialist to secure funding by developing compelling grant proposals, managing grant documentation, and supporting program development initiatives. Reporting to the Sr.

Director of Contracts and Revenue, this role prioritizes 100% in-person work at the corporate office, with occasional remote options depending on location; candidate must have 3+ years in grant writing and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.
• Experience preparing budgets and financial reports for grant applications.
• Experience with contract management and compliance reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grant Research & Development: Identify funding opportunities and maintain a grant calendar.
• Proposal Writing & Submission: Develop, edit, and submit high-quality proposals meeting funder requirements.
• Budget Preparation & Financial Reporting: Prepare budgets and financial reports in collaboration with finance and program teams.
• Grant Management & Reporting: Manage applications from inception to post-award reporting.
• Collaboration & Program Support: Work with program staff to gather data for proposals and reporting.
• Funder Relations: Maintain ongoing communication with funders and stewardship.
