Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer at a grain loading facility in the United States. The role involves loading and unloading barges and trucks, maintaining grain quality, and supporting daily operations.

You will participate in the Safety Program, follow OSHA and environmental regulations, and may operate heavy equipment. The position offers overtime and requires flexibility for extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong math, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform deckhand duties e.g., reading drafts, opening/closing lids, tying off barges.
• Load barges and oversee deckhands; transfer grain to appropriate locations and ensure quality.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• General cleaning, maintenance and repairs as needed.
• May operate heavy equipment and load/unload at multiple locations.
• Work extended hours, weekends and holidays as required.
