Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Grain Facility Technician to work at our facility, loading and unloading barges and trucks. This general laborer role includes cleaning and repair work as needed and daily participation in safety protocols.

Responsibilities vary by daily needs; may involve deckhand duties, grain transfer, and maintaining quality. Strong attention to safety, ability to follow instructions, and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year in an industrial environment.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication, ability to interact with all levels.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to loading/unloading barges and trucks.
• Participate in the Safety Program and pre-shift meetings.
• Perform deckhand responsibilities and barge loading to meet drafts and quality specs.
• Transfer and move grain to appropriate locations and maintain grain quality.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately; perform general housekeeping.
• Operate and monitor heavy equipment as needed and follow safety rules.
