Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer at a Mississippi facility that loads and unloads barges and trucks. This role involves a wide range of duties to support daily operations, including documentation and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include barge loading, grain handling, and keeping quality as well as timely records. The job requires physical capability and may involve extended hours and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Preferred 1 year in an industrial environment with dependable work record.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform duties in compliance with OSHA, safety and environmental regulations; wear PPE as required.
• Perform deckhand responsibilities (reading drafts, opening/closing lids, tying off barges).
• Handle barge loading duties to meet draft and quality requirements and oversee deckhands.
