Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a General Laborer to support grain loading and unloading at facilities in the United States. The role involves working with barges and trucks, performing barge loading, maintaining grain quality, and completing timely documentation.

Position requires adherence to safety programs and daily PPE usage. Physical demands include long shifts and exposure to industrial environments.

Qualifications

Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication with ability to interact at all levels.
Ability to complete documentation requirements accurately and legibly.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot in daily tasks.
Ability to remain focused on customer service for internal and external customers.
Ability to use tools appropriate for assigned task.

Responsibilities

Load and unload barges and trucks as needed.
Perform barge loading to meet draft and quality requirements and oversee deckhand(s).
Transfer, load and move grain to storage or transfer locations.
Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer operations.
Complete documentation timely and accurately.
General housekeeping and routine maintenance duties as assigned.
Operate heavy equipment and machinery per site requirements.
Adhere to Safety Program, OSHA guidelines and PPE usage.
