Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer to support barge loading, grain handling, and daily facility operations. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable documentation as you perform a range of duties across loading, unloading and housekeeping at an inland site.

Successful candidates will follow OSHA and company safety rules, and may operate heavy equipment as needed. No prior experience is required, but a dependable work record is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required - High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required – None.
• Preferred - 1 years’ experience in an industrial environment with a dependable work record.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform barge loading duties to meet draft and quality requirements.
• Transfer, load and move grain to designated locations as needed.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• Complete documentation timely, accurately and legibly.
• General upkeep including cleaning, painting and housekeeping.
• Operate/maintain heavy equipment as required by location.
