Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer to support barge loading, grain handling, and equipment operations. You will participate in safety meetings, perform barge loading, and help maintain grain quality at the facility.

The role requires physical stamina for lifting, long shifts, and the ability to work in a busy, outdoor environment. Training on safety and PPE is provided, with opportunities to grow within a diverse logistics network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year in an industrial environment.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and use logical thought to interpret instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform barge loading duties to meet draft and quality requirements.
• Transfer, load and move grain to storage locations as needed.
• Maintain grain quality while stored or transferred; complete documentation timely.
• Operate and monitor heavy equipment as required and perform general housekeeping.
