Job summary

Safety, OSHA compliance, accurate documentation, and teamwork are essential. This role requires physical endurance for long shifts, with weekend or holiday hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Education required: high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with OSHA, safety and environmental regulations; wear PPE.
• Perform deckhand duties (reading drafts, opening/closing lids, tying off barges).
• Oversee barge loading to meet draft and quality requirements; supervise deckhands.
