Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain EIT within one year of hire is required.
• Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create design documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials for substation projects under senior engineer supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations including relay burden, load flow, short circuit, and ground grid design.
• Apply NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI standards in project work.
• Deliver accurate work on schedule and travel to project sites as needed.
• Participate in learning and applying engineering software for design tasks.
