Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to support design and engineering tasks in the power sector with supervised growth. You will gain hands-on experience in project design processes and field work.

As part of a project team, you will perform calculations, develop drawings, and learn industry standards while collaborating with senior engineers. This role offers growth within a dynamic utility infrastructure group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create design documents and wiring diagrams for substations, under senior supervision.
• Perform relay burden, load flow, short circuit calculations under direct supervision.
• Learn and apply engineering software for ground grid design, relay coordination, and sizing tasks.
• Complete tasks to meet project schedule requirements.
• Learn and apply NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI standards.
• Spend time at job sites to gain hands-on knowledge and training.
