Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a project team and perform engineering and design duties under supervision, to develop job knowledge and abilities.

You will create design documents and drawings for substations, perform engineering calculations like relay burden and load flow, and learn industry standards while gaining hands-on experience at job sites. A B.S. in Electrical Engineering and EIT eligibility within a year are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; power focus preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Prior internship or related power-field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating design documents and wiring diagrams for substations under supervision.
• Perform relay calculations, load flow, and other engineering tasks under supervision.
• Learn and apply NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
• Travel to job sites as required.
