Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a project team and perform engineering and design duties under close supervision to develop core skills.

You will create design documents, wiring diagrams, and BOMs, run load-flow and short-circuit studies, learn engineering software, apply NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE/ANSI standards, and gain hands-on site experience through travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, power focus preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Internship or related power-field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create design documents and wiring diagrams under supervision.
• Perform engineering support tasks including load flow and short-circuit calculations.
• Learn and apply software for ground grid design and transformer sizing.
• Complete tasks to meet project schedule requirements.
• Apply NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE/ANSI standards and practices.
• Travel to project sites for hands-on learning.
