Job summary

Seattle University is seeking a Limited Term Appointment (LTA) advising specialist to support the Albers Graduate programs during the transition from quarter to semester terms. This role focuses on academic planning, student retention, and software implementation across Colleague and Workday platforms.

The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and comfort teaching new technology, with an expected end date of June 30, 2028.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting academic planning and student advising.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Workday, Colleague and CRM tools.
  • Ability to learn new technology and adapt to calendar unification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Academic Planning through Semester Transition and create transition materials.
  • Track student progress using Excel, Program Evaluations, and BI tools.
  • Develop and revise academic plans aligning quarter and semester requirements.
  • Learn and operate degree planning software in Colleague and Workday; provide support.
  • Review schedules after registration and flag deviations.
