Job summary

Seattle University is seeking Undergraduate Academic Advisors to guide students through educational planning, registration, and progress challenges. You will connect students to information, opportunities, and resources, advising a caseload across programs and coordinating with campus partners to support student success.

The role emphasizes holistic advising, collaboration, and timely responses via CRM. The team operates within a Jesuit, equity-driven campus and supports a hybrid work model

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years experience in an educational environment.
Ability to work with diverse populations and contribute to equity.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Guide students through educational planning and registration processes.
Assist with resolving challenges to educational progress and connect to resources.
Advise a caseload of students via scheduled and drop-in appointments, groups, online, and events.
Collaborate with campus partners and faculty to support student success.
Maintain accurate records of advising conversations in CRM and track progress.
