Job summary

Crowe in Sacramento is seeking an experienced Government Consultant to help modernize Human Capital Management and payroll processes for public sector clients. You will lead organizational change efforts, assess readiness, and drive adoption across teams using PROSCI methodologies.

In this role you will collaborate with delivery teams, manage stakeholder engagement, and develop change-management artifacts to ensure successful project outcomes. A hybrid work model with federal/state opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least two years applying a recognized OCM methodology such as PROSCI.
• At least one year of readiness analysis and planning for large projects ($10M+).
• Experience guiding stakeholders through change and assessing operational readiness.
• PROSCI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational readiness and change impacts; identify gaps and actions.
• Build relationships with leaders, explain changes, and support readiness.
• Plan stakeholder engagement, communications, resistance management, coaching, and training.
• Support readiness networks and change champions within client organizations.
• Maintain stakeholder records and readiness reporting in project tools.
• Prepare status updates, presentations, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with project leaders and delivery teams across phases.
