Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee the full lifecycle of outsource engagements for Government Contracting clients. You will lead proposal development, staff assignment, and delivery of GAAP-compliant financial statements while ensuring timely billing and issue resolution.

You will manage client relationships, monitor project performance, and guide associates toward high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Six or more years of progressive accounting experience, including three or more years leading accounting teams in a government contracting environment.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform all accounting functions: GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, indirect rate calculation, GovCon project accounting.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure revenue recognition, contract accounting, and policies meet GovCon and federal regulations.
