Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager of Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee the full life cycle of GovCon finance engagements, including staff oversight, proposal development, and client relationship management.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, GovCon regulatory expertise, and proven leadership in a fast-paced environment. You will drive budgeting, revenue recognition, and project profitability while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required.
• Six+ years of progressive accounting experience, including three+ years leading teams in GovCon.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle of GovCon finance outsource engagements.
• Oversee proposal development, staffing, and final work product review.
• Maintain client relationships and report financial information.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, FAR/CAS/DCAA requirements, and contract accounting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analyses.
