Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee the full lifecycle of outsourced accounting engagements for Government Contracting clients in a dynamic, client-facing role. You will manage staff, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and maintain relationships with clients while driving financial performance and timely billing.

The role requires strong knowledge of GovCon regulations, experience leading accounting teams, and proficiency with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• Six or more years of progressive accounting experience, including at least three years leading accounting teams in a government contracting environment.
• CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life-cycle of outsourced finance and accounting engagements for Government Contracting clients.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, contract accounting, and compliance with FAR, CAS, and DCAA.
