Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring a Shipping Coordinator for our manufacturing client in Dallastown, PA. The role ensures compliant, on-time domestic and government shipments, maintains shipping records, and supports logistics improvement initiatives.

You will handle Bills of Lading, DD250s/WAWF, Hazmat regulations, and coordination with carriers while protecting sensitive government information. 40-hour workweek, onsite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory roles.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading in commercial and government shipping.
• Ability to maintain sensitive information per government standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare government Bills of Lading and related documents.
• Submit DD250s/WAWF and DD1149s per FAR.
• Coordinate shipments and schedule pickups with carriers.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with 49 CFR and HazMat requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of shipping processes.
