Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party in Denton, TX is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to support the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign. You will aid Get Out the Vote efforts by handling VAN tickets, troubleshooting issues, and performing data tasks with SQL, Google Sheets, and Data Studio.

You will collaborate with the Data Team on projects, develop reports, and help ensure accurate data flow for GOTV operations during a critical campaign period.

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement; equivalent experience valued.
• Familiarity with campaign operations and the pace of a political campaign.
• Strong task and time management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot data and technology issues and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to campaign staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and VAN tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Support geographies/districts, VAN administration, and texting program management.
• Collaborate with the TDP Data Team to resolve data and tech issues.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as assigned.
• Create and maintain reports/dashboards in Google Data Studio.
• Document recurring issues and processes for the data team.
• Communicate clearly with users to translate technical issues into practical solutions.
