Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party in Tyler, Texas is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to support Get Out the Vote efforts by providing day-to-day data and VAN-related technical support to campaign and organizing staff. The role involves responding to VAN tickets, troubleshooting issues, and completing data tasks within VAN in a fast-moving campaign environment.

You will work with the GOTV Data Team on SQL queries, data analysis, and reporting, and help develop dashboards using Google Data Studio and

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement. Equivalent experience, skills, and demonstrated ability are valued.
• Experience on electoral, union, or community organizing campaigns is a plus.
• Familiarity with campaign operations and the pace and demands of a campaign.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to campaign and organizing staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and other assigned tasks within VAN accurately and efficiently.
• Support geographies/districts, including VAN administration, creating phone banks, managing texting programs, and more.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as assigned.
• Create, update, and maintain reports and dashboards using Google Data Studio.
