Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party in Eagle Pass, Texas is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to support our Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign. You will handle VAN-related data tasks, respond to tickets, and assist with data analysis and reporting.

Work closely with the GOTV Data & Analytics Director and the Data Team to troubleshoot issues, run SQL queries, build dashboards in Google Data Studio, and support campaign staff with data-driven decisions during a fast-paced GOTV period.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; equivalent experience valued.

• Familiarity with campaign operations and fast-paced campaign environments.
• Strong task and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication with users and data team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with electoral, union, or community organizing campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to staff.
• Complete data entry, reporting, and other VAN tasks accurately.
• Support geographies/districts, VAN administration, and texting programs.
• Collaborate with the TDP Data Team to troubleshoot data/tech issues.
• Complete GOTV data projects assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as assigned.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio.
• Use Google Sheets and other data tools to support GOTV reporting.
• Document recurring issues and solutions for the data team.
• Communicate technical issues in understandable terms to users.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a campaign setting.
• Perform other duties to support Texas Together’s GOTV program.
