Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party in Dallas is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to support Get Out the Vote efforts by handling VAN data tasks, SQL queries, and reporting. You will work with the Data Team to troubleshoot issues, build dashboards in Google Data Studio, and assist with data analysis during a fast-paced campaign.

This role begins ASAP and runs through November 15, 2026, with monthly compensation of $5,000 and benefits including health care, vision, dental, and transit stipends.

• Clear communication with users of varying technical experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience on electoral, union, or community campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• VAN Support Tickets: Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN tickets and user requests promptly.
• VAN Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance.
• VAN Data Tasks: Data entry, reporting, and other VAN tasks accurately.
• Other data/tech duties: Support geographies, VAN administration, texting programs, and more.
• Data Team Collaboration: Work with the TDP Data Team to troubleshoot data/tech issues.
• GOTV Data Projects: Complete projects and tasks assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• SQL & Data Queries: Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio.
• Google Sheets: Use Google Sheets for GOTV reporting and analysis.
• Documentation: Document recurring issues and processes to improve support.
• User Support: Communicate clearly with users and team members.
• Task Management: Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced campaign.
• Additional Support: Perform other duties for Texas Together’s GOTV program.
